Reconstruction of ul. Grabiszyńska from ul. Pereca to Srebrny Square in Wrocław

The Road will be reconstructed over the length of 924 m. The works shall include:

1. Replacing the setts with bituminous road surface

2. Construction of sidewalks and bicycle lanes

3. A modern tramway subgrade will be constructed which will also be used as bus roadway. This design would enable the urban means of transportation to by-pass traffic jams and the passengers will be able to use shared stops for both types of transportation.

4. Underground infrastructure – water supply, sewage, power, telecommunication, gas and heating systems shall be thoroughly reconstructed

In the first stage of works (till April 2009) the northern roadway (between the city center and Oporów) will be closed. On ul.Grabiszynska between pl.Srebrny and ul.Pereca the motor cars will go in both directions over the southern roadway. During the second stage the southern roadway will be closed, traffic will run on the reconstructed northern roadway. The project provides for completing the works in October 2009. No traffic will take place on ul.Grabiszynska during the work.
